Ban Tommy Robinson

The government messed up.

Tommy Robinson is an infamous anti-Muslim activist from the UK.

Right now he’s in Canada to do a tour with Rebel News.

Robinson sends the message that Muslims are violent terrorists and criminals, rapists who prey on young girls, and that Muslims and Islam are inherently evil and are trying to take over society.

He should not have been let into the country. He is already banned from the USA and Mexico.

According to footage Robinson himself took, there are apparently lies on his visa application about his many criminal convictions – which includes passport fraud.

We pointed out all his criminal convictions – dating back to 2005 – to the Ministers of Public Safety and Immigration and we thought they were listening.

Robinson was arrested and ordered to surrender his passport and stay in Alberta until his immigration hearing.

But in a secret meeting today, the CBSA have given Tommy Robinson his passport back and he is allowed to continue on his tour.

Tell this government to ban Tommy Robinson from Canada for good.

Apparently, he’s completely free to go and spread hate.

While we don’t know exactly what happened – it’s obvious that somebody in this government didn’t properly see this through.

Sign the petition right now to tell them that they’ve messed up and demand that they ban Tommy Robinson from Canada for good.

Sincerely,

Evan Balgord
Executive Director
Canadian Anti-Hate Network

Will you sign?

TO: Domenic LeBlanc, Minister of Public Safety

Tommy Robinson is an internationally famous anti-Muslim activist.

He is also a convicted criminal. He is banned in the USA and Mexico.

He sends the message that Muslims are violent terrorists and criminals, rapists who prey on young girls, and that Muslims and Islam are inherently evil and are trying to take over society.

His words match and go beyond what Canadian courts have repeatedly found to constitute criminal hate propaganda.

It was a good thing that he was arrested and given conditions that effectively canceled his tour pending an immigration hearing.

It came as a shock to learn that he was given his passport back in a secret meeting and that he has been given the go-ahead to do his tour and keep spreading his hate in Canada.

What happened?

There is still time to do the right thing. Ban Tommy Robinson.

This government must not send the message that convicted criminals banned in other countries are welcome to spread hate speech in Canada.
