The Dominion Society of Canada (DSC) is a white nationalist organization that uses propaganda and political campaigning to promote mass deportations on the basis of race, ethnicity, and religion. They share members and supporters, promote each other, and co-create content with other elements of the white nationalist movement, some of which endorse racist and genocidal violence. The DSC serves as the political arm of the white nationalism ecosystem in Canada and has discussed forming their own political party.
As of Summer 2026, the Dominion Society claims to have 3,000 members and to be raising hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Depending on their audience, the Dominion Society may emphasize their less extreme positions, such as halting immigration and deporting non-citizens who have broken the law. They refer to themselves as “nationalists” rather than white nationalists, but they repeatedly refer to “ethnic Canadians” as exclusively white. They argue for the mass deportations of people who do not fit this category, with limited exceptions for “heritage Canadians,” their definitions of which have been inconsistent, but which have also been referred to as exclusively white.

The Dominion Society has denied having neo-Nazi members or promoting hatred to the media. However, this report contains 14 examples – which is not an exhaustive list – of DSC members displaying neo-Nazi symbols or identifying themselves as neo-Nazis. One of the DSC leaders has said they will not “counter-signal” people who are “putting a mask on … and throwing Romans [Nazi salutes],” but that they see these actions as counter-productive.
The Canadian Anti-Hate Network assesses that more extreme statements made by the organization’s leaders to their own supporters and inside the white nationalist ecosystem, which we outline in this report, are more truthful than the statements they provide on their website and to journalists.
The Dominion Society believes that politics is downstream of culture, and that activists need to work on influencing culture to achieve their political goals. In practice, this means they believe that normalizing the idea of racist mass deportations and building support for it among the public will create the conditions for it to become an issue championed by a political party, or government policy.
When considering whether to engage with – or address – the Dominion Society, governments and politicians should be aware that the leaders of the Dominion Society have used the words “hijack,” “crash,” “gaslight,” and “troll” to describe their political activism. One member signed up to speak to an issue at a Hamilton city council meeting under false pretences, another under a false name and a fictitious organization.
