The Canadian Anti-Hate Network Is Hiring

We are looking to hire two new team members who are courageous and motivated when faced with overt expressions of identity-based hatred, and who self-identify as anti-racist and anti-fascist. Both positions will be given additional training on monitoring hate promoting individuals and groups.

We are actively seeking out members of communities that may be targeted by hate groups by reaching out to organizations and networks within those communities. If you are a member of one of those communities and meet the job requirements, we warmly welcome you to apply. If you don’t meet the requirements but support our mission, please share this call for applications within your networks.

We will provide accommodation for applicants with disabilities in our recruitment process.

We will only be contacting individuals we are interested in interviewing.

To apply, please email jobs@antihate.ca with a cover letter and CV. For the Investigator/Reporter position, please include URL links to 5-7 writing samples: preferably a mix of articles, Facebook posts, and Twitter threads.

The deadline to apply is Wednesday, August 5th at midnight EST.

About us:

The Canadian Anti-Hate Network is a non-profit, independent public service that monitors, exposes, and counters organized hate across Canada, and provides education on the topic. We have shut down significant hate propaganda platforms and groups and contained others to the margins of our politics and public discourse. We do not do on-the-ground organizing, rather we use journalism (and sometimes the law) to hold individuals and groups socially and legally accountable for their actions.
