On a dead-end street in the small Vancouver Island city of Nanaimo, Josiah Patton has spent the last four years alternately shouting, begging, and despairing into the void of the white supremacist dating site WhiteDate.
“I’m ultimately here to find a White woman - the younger the better (15+),” Patton wrote on his “ParadiseSeeker” profile, which he created in 2024. “A good wife ultimately submits (especially sexually) to her husband and enjoys doing so. I would only consider monogamy with a young (15-25) maiden (that is, a virgin who has never had sex with a man [other than me]).”
The age of consent in Canada is 16.
Some time after creating the profile, Patton updated his profile to read “the younger the better (if legal)” and “I would only consider monogamy with a young (16-22) maiden.”
Patton sent over twice as many messages as the next most active user on WhiteDate, and made the second highest number of posts. Many of these posts promoted rape, incest, and child marriage, some were also racist and antisemitic—Patton wants people who aren’t white, and “race-traitors” (white people who have relationships with people who aren’t white), to be deported.
WhiteDate was hacked, deleted, and leaked by German antifascist hacktivist Martha Root late last year. It has since been re-hosted.
Patton changed his current WhiteDate profile after the Canadian Anti-Hate Network sent Patton a request for comment. His location is now listed as “Miami,” his education is now “Doctorate,” and he replaced the text in his About Me section to read “Disclaimer—all posts on this account and any other account or presumed identity—past, present, and future—incorrectly assumed to be I, may perhaps be of I, the actor, playing original character roles for the purposes of entertainment. If I am correctly informed, by mail, how entertainment, or a specific character, is against the law, I will cease playing immediately.”
The Canadian Anti-Hate Network has provided the Nanaimo RCMP with all the relevant information on Patton and all his posts and messages on WhiteDate.
“My plan was to be a grade 12 high school teacher and meet gals that way”
The Canadian Anti-Hate Network identified Patton through an internet search for the phone number he provided multiple users on WhiteDate. The phone number is listed as the contact information on a website last updated in January 2025, where Patton advertises his services as a tutor for students from grade nine through fourth year university.
He wrote on WhiteDate that his original career plan “was to be a grade 12 high school teacher and meet gals that way (and date some of them after they graduate) but that won't happen now that I've been rejected from teacher school due to being a sane White male.” Despite this, he describes himself on his tutoring website as “a third-generation teacher.”
While CAHN did not find evidence to suggest he has attended teacher’s college, Patton does hold an International Baccalaureate Certificate in Teaching and Learning, and a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).
“The younger the better (15+)”
In the gender-skewed world of WhiteDate, users frequently spoke of their discouragement and frustration with finding the “Europid” (white) partner of their dreams.
Obsessively pushing a worldview he described as “pro-White-Radical-Eugenic-Patriarchal- Religious-Fanaticism” while trying to “find and completely seduce a young-enough genetically healthy Aryan female with red-hair and blue-eyes,” the 36-year-old sent over a thousand messages and made hundreds of posts on WhiteDate’s forums—the vast majority of which went ignored by women and men alike.
Patton was among the small number of WhiteDate users who indicated upon registration that they were “open to polygyny (1 M several W).” In fact, he required it. In exception, when he was asked by a potential suitor whether one woman could be enough, he replied: “Sure, but she'd have to be a beautiful sweet innocent-virgin Aryan girl or a Goddess.” He told the same woman that he would not raise another man’s sons, but he would be open to step-fathering their daughters, because “a daughter could become a future wife for myself or my (future) son, thus supporting my lineage.”
“If you are not a virgin, you still have a chance if you will joyfully help us build our polygynous harem,” Patton wrote. “Natural blue eyes and red or blonde hair are the purest White colour combinations. Green eyes are also seductive. My mother had red hair and blue eyes, so if you have red hair and blue eyes, and you want your children to as well, I’m yours babe.”
In multiple posts, he described his rage at feeling rejected by a pre-teen female relative: “[she] used to love me to the point of jumping on me and asking me to give her a baby…now completely [she] ignores me in favor of her stupid ‘friends’ from either of her indoctrination centers (church and public education).”
Patton provided numerous rationalizations for his pedophilic and incestuous sexual interest, including appeals to history—“the greatest time in American history, from the Revolutionary War to the start of the Civil War, featured marriages starting at 10 or 12”—to claims making about developmental biology—“White females…are biologically women at 9-12” and “Incest is preferable to outcest that results in the loss of desirable traits…”
He suggested in a post on WhiteDate’s forum: “A White girl should be eugenically married as soon as: 1) She has had her first menstruation 2) She is physically big enough to safely handle pregnancy 3) She has shown any interest in sex.”
“The most masculine act is RAPE”
Like many men who are enraged by their own celibacy, Patton fantasized about rape and sexual slavery as solutions to his lack of sexual success.
“It is worth remembering,” he wrote in June 2025, “that the most masculine act is RAPE…and the most feminine act is absolute submission or being a love slave of one man.”
When another user suggested that he could have as many wives as he wanted if he passed himself off as a Muslim refugee in Europe, Patton responded that he “likely couldn't stand the mudslimes/n***ers for one moment let alone live undercover with them just to 'taste' young Swedish girls by force and get away with it.”
Patton advocated numerous times for the sexual enslavement of white women by white men, claiming that this was “the simplest way to restore the birth rate,” and that “women desire being completely enslaved by one man despite what they might say.”
Like many other supremacists, Patton was acutely aware of the role religion could play in the racist, pedophilic, eugenicist society he envisioned. In many posts and messages on WhiteDate, he cited ancient and modern religions all over the world as evidence of the legitimacy of his worldview. And while he used slurs to degrade Muslims, Patton endorsed his own fetishized and orientalist version of Islam, which he referred to as “White Sharia” and described as a “True Patriarchy…where a female is the slave of her father (if he is gone, a close paternal relative of her choice), or her husband (if he is gone, a son of her choice).”
“The simplest way to restore the birth rate, however, is to simply say that females are either the property (slaves) of their father (or another close male relative) or their husband. This is what Islam does (and they have the highest birth rate outside of blacks), and it was essentially this way before WW1 in the West as well. So, for the women out there, what would you prefer? Being a slave to your father and the husband he chooses for you OR having the DUTY to eugenically reproduce?”
“There is almost nothing more disgusting and evil than an attractive White female betraying her race sexually”
Patton’s misogyny on WhiteDate was inseparable from his racism and antisemitism.
Like many white supremacists, he endorsed the “white genocide” and “great replacement” conspiracy theories: “The signs that Whites are now actively targeted for genocide—by almost all institutions and in every previously White country—are exceeding obvious at this point, and the Synagogue plans to replace us with non-Whites, especially, n***ers.”
In some examples, Patton’s racism seemed triggered by his own imagined scenarios of white women and girls being intimate with racialized men and boys.
Reflecting on his perceived sexual rejection by a young female relative, he wrote “What is considered permissible or forbidden by this (((society))) is an inversion of what is good. Case in point, my [relative] was not allowed to become my wife like she wanted, and I wasn't going to break any legal rules... meanwhile, she WOULD be permitted, nay encouraged by (((society))), to have sex with a n***er (especially one under 18). If that's not sick, I don't know what is.”
Patton frequently used the triple parentheses “echoes” dogwhistle to express his antisemitism, and saw everything from the public school system to the outcome of the American Civil War as evidence of the “Synagogue of Satan’s” plot to oppress white men. Crucially, for Patton, laws and social anathema against pedophilia and incest are a “Jewish”/“Judeo-Satanic” plot to “wage direct genetic war on us.”
His young female relative was not the only girl about whom Patton expressed rage at being denied access.
“It seriously ruined my day to see a tall attractive redhead walking 'home' with an equally tall n***er, both of whom were apparently in the last grade of elementary school. Yet the same young woman (she was certainly physically mature) would be completely off-limits to me courtesy of our Judeo-Satanic society. I think of my mother, who was also a tall redhead fully physically developed at 12. If society were as corrupt when she was 12, what would have happened to her? Would she have reproduced with n***ers? Entirely possible, and the very thought makes me passionate about removing n***ers et al. Indeed, deportation of all non-Whites and race-traitors is the only way to save the White race.”
“It is difficult being near the apex of present human wisdom”
Josiah Patton spent nearly $600 for a lifetime “White Angel” membership on the platform. During his four years as a member, he sent over a thousand messages, made hundreds of posts, and created a dozen groups on and off the platform in order to recruit others to his worldview.
Despite this, he only received a response to a fraction of a percentage of his messages. When the women of WhiteDate did answer, his replies were quickly self-aggrandizing and demeaning: “No single woman I have ever met has ever been my equal (or greater), and I cannot accept monogamous marriage to someone who does not meet that standard.”
At least one of the groups Patton created devolved, in his words, into “unmoderated anarchy” with “some in the group seem determined to character assassinate” him. When one female member of WhiteDate disagreed with him publicly, he called her a “vindictive FEMINIST JEWESS.”
In the end, Josiah Patton never found a girlfriend, wife/wives, or date through the website. All he managed to do was expose himself, his interest in sexual violence, and racist and antisemitic worldview to the public.
